Grouping suppliers in local countries to report consolidated procurement spend

We want to group the local suppliers of an international company created in different company codes/purchasing org together to report consolidated spend. Is there an equivalent to vendor hierarchies in the Cloud 2005 version? Or is vendor classification possible that can be used for reporting in analytics?
