Fin. Transaction type when performing FX valuation

Hello,

If not mistaken, when Fin. transaction type is a required field on a GL account, we have two choices in terms of FX valuation :

1. if we don't indicate the system , the Transaction types will be empty on FX valuation postings.
2. if we indicate the system, we can assign automatically the same Fin. Transaction type as the original transaction which is being revaluated. - SSCUI

Is there an option where we could Assign a predefined Fin. Transaction Type (980 or others) whenever performing FX Valuation. The FX valuation postings would use this predefined Transaction Type regardless of the Transaction type used in the original transaction which is being reevaluated.

Did someone encounter this situation ?
