When service purchase requisition is created in advanced app, system throws error APPL_MM_PUR_PO063

When service purchase requisition is created in create purchase requisition advanced app, Product Type group is defaulted to 1 and following error is thrown: 

Select a valid material or service for the product type group.- Message no. APPL_MM_PUR_PO063

Lean Services Procurement in S/4HANA is not supported in the webgui tile or backend transaction ME51n, it is enabled for the Fiori App 'Manage Purchase Requisition - Professional'.

Use the Fiori App 'Manage Purchase Requisition - Professional' to create Lean Services Purchase Requisitions, as outlined in scope item 22Z.

Hi Hemashree,

Can you please explain the difference between a "lean service" and regular services. I'm struggling to understand the business applications of this whole lean service concept.

Umm but is this behavioiur definitive? I meant, if i have introduced a SERV material, this value (product type group) is part of material definition, why SAP is not retriving this infomration automatically from there?
