#COE# Auto birng the Creation Profile form master data to SA Item

Dear all

  The Creation Profile in SA, currently logic is auto bring from supplier master data, and may we change the logic that the creation profile comes from Material Master Data. Or may we have any method that we can set in material master data that can bring to standard creation profile for SA delivery schedule?

Hi,

Use of Release Creation Profile defines where it could be maintained. Release creation profile defines how the requirements for Materials are communicated to the Supplier.

Release Creation Profile could be maintained in both Supplier and Material master data. We decided to define it in Supplier master data because Suppliers would not expect requirements for different materials to be communicated in different ways. However, to support the Customer who may have the need to communicate specific materials in different ways, we have this information maintained in the Scheduling Agreement item although it is derived from Supplier master.
