May I know your inputs regards to S4 Hana Cloud Muli Tenant, Single Tenant, HEC.

1 Patching How often is system update available? Mandatory / optional?

2 Scalability Is it possible to copy configuration for one company to another new company, e.g. like client copy in ECC

3 Accessability Can we use SAP Gui?

4 Template Is Automotive Template available? [Ronny] Technically might be, there is separate business suite for Automotive Industry. However, if customers is expecting like traditional automotive, it might be different case

5 Configuration Is the system Pre-configure to some extent?

6 Testing & Training Testing & Training tool Set-up?

7 Provider Selection Can we use different cloud provider

Hi

Patching: Systems are upgraded on a quarterly basis( every 3 months) and goes through System maintenance on a weekly/bi-weekly basis during the weekend midnight hours(00:00-04:00) based on the respective region and they are MANDATORY.

Scalability: S4HC tenant are provisioned to the customer, based on the company code and each region has a defined set of company codes. For e.g. 1710 is US and if customer prefer to have another company code for US, that is possible and the configuration can be copied with additional functionality as on need basis.

However, company code configuration for each region is different from each other in terms of the functionality and the way they are governed for instance the country law or region law etc. and hence they cannot be copied in such case.instance.

Accessability: S4HC uses Fiori apps to access the respective application and does not SAP GUI unlike in the on premise world.

Template: S4HANA Cloud are also on Template Based approach, but this is subjective to the Line of businesses. Please refer to the Best Practice Explorer to get more details on the specific that you're looking for:

Configuration: Yes, the S4HC tenants come pre-configured and additional customization can be brought in based on the customer business requirement. This is where the relevance of Fit to standard workshop comes into picture to gauge the pre-configured system to identify a solution to fit the customer business requirement.

Provider Selection: Not sure, what is meant by 'different Cloud provider' you meant how we can integrate with Cloud Identity provider like MS Azure/Okta?
