Inbox Notifications for Billing Posting

Dear team,

My customer is asking whether S/4HANA Cloud could support notifications in APP - My Inbox, as well as side bar message to accountant when a billing document is posted.

This could help accountant notify the billings more pro-actively.

They would like the notification could be raised inside S/4HANA Cloud, just like how the message is raised in workflow processes.

A similar app could be built for the event of billing document creation (see screenshot).

Just to confirm my understanding on 1NN: SCP is needed for side-by-side APP development based on S/4HC event handling API. Am I getting the correct point?

That's right, to deploy an app that enables users to view the notifications on posted billing documents would be a side-by-side scenario using SCP.
