I want to replicate Products from ECC to S/4HANA through SOAP API. Can I get the mapping of SOAP field names to technical field names?

Hi Rahul,
Thank you for this! Just wondering if there is a common repository where we could find information about all table names around ECC. Also, I am curious why we need the technical names as the source file not necessarily will hold table names that are further used in the mapping definition with SOAP API.
Thank you again!

Hi Amith,
I think there is no common repository for table names. Mapping with technical field names would be required when you integrate with IDoc in ECC and SOAP API in S4HANA. In IDoc the field names would be technical names like "MATNR" but in SOAP field names would be descriptive like "ProductInternalID". So in such cases mapping information would be useful.
Thanks,
Rahul
Dear Rahul,
Thanks for the document, after mapping the valuation data, the message in S4 is not successful. The final message shows as 'in progress' although and the valuation data is not visible in 'display materials'
Note: we are using CPI as intermediate and we could see the valuation data in our payload from CPI.

Hi Rahul,
Are you referring to fields available in the corresponding SOAP API to its technical names( the tables names for e.g.?) if yes, I am afraid, we have the information, although I wonder why you would need them in your mapping exercise. The closest what you can get is its business documentation. Please refer below:
Good Luck!
