Subcontracting challan Issue

Dear Team,

As per test script process i am doing subcontracting process in starter system but while doing this for creating subcontracting challan i am facing issue for sales area is not assigned to plant i am sending you screen shot please find it & kindly guide on same.

Hi,

There is for Stock Transport Orders the need to define shipping data, which also defines which sales area is relevant. Stock Transport Orders are confined in the context of purchase orders, and usually purchase orders are made to receive goods, not ship them. As a consequence there is no standard provisioning contained for the key data related to shipping directly in the UI for purchase orders.

As a result this data is determined from settings in the system. Basically there are in S/4H OnPremise two places to determine this, "Define Shipping Data for Stock Transfers Between Storage Locations" and "Define Shipping Data for Plants".

The former is also represented in S/4H Cloud Edition as a self service configuration UI under "Manage Your Solution". The latter is not yet implemented as a SSC UI. If the latter is relevant for you, you will have to raise a request on this for getting the settings assigned in your system
