Copying GL accounts from CoA to Company Code manually in Q System

Hi,

We use the standard CoA provided by SAP.

When creating a new company code in the starter system, all the GL accounts in CoA is copied to company code automatically.

However, we want to copy only the required GL accounts from CoA to Company Code manually. How can we manage this manually and stop all GL accounts being copied from CoA to Company Code?

Best Regards,

Gozde

    Hi Gozde,

this is not possible to stop in starter or quality systems since it is part of the predeliverd SAP content activated by default in the system.

You can only block the extended accounts at company code level once the extension is completed where you don't plan to use them.

    Hi Gozde ,

In the P system the data is transferred from Q and you will never copy a company code in P, this is always done in Q and transported in a business change project with the depending configuration including standard G/L accounts copied from the reference entity.

The additional customer specific accounts have to be maintained manually but default SAP content is included in the org structure extension process so it will be added to the new unit by default.

Please check also the CoA maintenance help for an overview of the maintenance process:
