How to enhance Data Source "P&L - Plan/Actual" with "Alternative G/L Account" field

Dear community,

we would like to make "Alternative G/L Account" field available for "P&L - Plan/Actual" (C_PROFITANDLOSSPLANACTQ2903) reports.

We've tried to enhance the following data sources:

But we have only been able to extend it for the "P&L - Actuals".

For the "P&L - Plan/Actuals" we cannot see the field available.

Any clue on how to answer this "nice to have" from our client?

Dear João,

It is not possible to extend the "P&L - Plan/Actuals" in the same way as the "P&L - Actuals" due to technical differences in the underlying CDS views.

If you want to create a "P&L - Plan/Actuals" report including the "Alternative G/L Account", you could achieve it by:

1. Create your own custom CDS view using the "Custom CDS Views" tile. As primary data source you could use "I_ActualPlanJrnlEntryItem".

2. In your own custom CDS view based on "I_ActualPlanJrnlEntryItem" you can select the field

"AlternativeGLAccount" as association of "_GLAccountInCompanyCode".

3. With the tile "Custom Analytical Queries" you can create a query on your own custom CDS view including the "Alternative G/L Account".
