No 'Customer authorization Group' restriction in app 'Manage Sales Order'

Hi all, This query was raised with me earlier today - I have added the answer here in the community in case our community users have similar queries related to the restriction offered in Manage Sales Orders app.

Question: According to the role SAP_BR_INTERNAL_SALES_REP, restrictions can be maintained for the 'Customer authorization group'. However, in app 'Manage Sales Orders' we are still not seeing a reaction from the system against the restriction maintained for the role.

Answer: The app 'Manage Sales orders' contains business catalog; SAP_SD_BCG_SO_PROC_MC. Although, business user SAP_BR_INTERNAL_SALES_REP offers restrictions against the 'Authorization Group for Customers', this Restriction Type is not contained in the business catalog SAP_SD_BCG_SO_PROC_MC and is therefore not checked.
