Custom Analytical Query - How to change order of filter parameters

I'm creating a Custom Analytical Query for a finance report with couple of user input values filters in the prompt screen (that popup selection screen).

I'd like to know if there's a way to change the ordering/position that filters appear on the screen.

For example, in the below image, I'd like to show "Company Code" on top of both "Journal Entry" and "G/L Account".

There doesn't seem to be a logical way of changing the position of these fields.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

"Yes, this is possible! All that you need to do is, [In the edit mode] go to the 'display' section and the select the desired field that you want to re-arrange by choosing 'up' and 'down' button. once your re-arrange in the desired way, you can save and publish. That should help you fix your issue. I just tried this myself and it works just fine"

Thank you for reaching out to the community. I just did a quick test to verify that the sequence of the fields in the tab "display" of the custom analytical query editor is what seems to determine the order of displayed filters. It may be that you wish you to have a different sequence of fields displayed on the user-input filter prompt vs. the actual report. In that case you may perhaps consider arranging the fields for prompt filters accordingly in the tab "display" and create variants for in-query designer end-user consumption.

Hi Feras, thank you for your reply.

This isn't always the case, in my example I have Company Code at the right top of the list in "Display" tab.

But I still see it after the fields "G/L Account" and "Journal Entry".

Thank you for the follow-up. You make a valid point. When the fields are in the 'free' selection seems like they are not incorporated into the sequencing pattern I mentioned earlier.

I will do some more internal digging and get back to you. In the meantime, if you do come across a concrete solution, please do share with the community!
