Can I change Account Group SAKO to 999999999 (nine position)?

Hello,

I change YCBR to nine positions. When I creating a new GL account the system send erro message = Account group SAKO only defined for accounts from ' ' to 99999999.

I need adjust the customizing.

Hi José ,

are you planning to renumber the alternative account numbers for Brazil ?

If you have changed the length of the local CoA in Edit Chart of Accounts List SSCUI you need to use the Renumber G/L Accounts process to convert the values since the app should alter the length of the account groups at CoA level .

There is no direct maintenance option for the account groups as far as I know.

Hi Lucian,

Yes, I am renumber the alternative account numbers for Brazil. I am using YCBR with 9 digits.

I changed in SSCUI the Chart of account "YCBR" from 8 to 9 digits and run the "Mapping Values for G/L Accounts to YCBR". The system created the new G/L Account correct (update in the tables). But if I try create an other G/L Account (9 dig) with copy from this new G/L Account (transactional), the system send me the erro message = Account group SAKO only defined for accounts from ' ' to 99999999.

In my opnion the SAP will must be change all account group to ´9999999999´ (the limit).
