How do I generate a collections worklist?

Really dumb question, I am sure - but how do I generate a collections worklist (having just activated the scope item)?

The BP documentation suggests:

The Sending of FI-AR-Relevant Data to Collection Management and worklist are executed as batch jobs'

- but I can't see where you run these jobs.

Can anyone help?

Hi,

the worklist is automatically generated by a job which runs overnight.

You have the following options to work with the worklist:

- Supervise Collections Worklist:

- Process Collections Worklist:

Yes, you're right - thanks for the feedback! This will be included in future documentation to make it clear.

christina.wann - thanks for confirming re the frequency - I figured this must be what was happening. It would be good if this was made clearer in the documentation. Obviously makes doing demos and running workshops a bit tricky, where you tend to need data flows to be immediate.

Thanks!

If you check SM37 and look for *WORKLIST* jobs, you can reschedule them to run whenever you like (they seem to be running at 3 AM). Running SAP_FIN_UDM_GEN_WORKLIST for example updates the worklist it seems

I looked at the collections management jobs - but those seem to be just about the mass update of data - and after I have run these, they are not automatically reflected in the Worklist.

However, I did notice that overnight, I can now see those changes reflected in the worklist.

Is the AR to FSCM job something that just happens daily in the background in MTE - or can I do anything to control it? This part does not seem to be widely documented.
