Dears,
We are getting a message "Establishing connection to Test Automation Service failed" , while doing "Test Your Processes" automation with each scope item. Even we maintained proper user roles & authorizations. What could be the reasons and how to resolve it.
Thanks & Regards,
SHIVA.
Hi Shiva,
Please check and confirm:
1. That the user set up to be used by the test automation service (Either or the default role or any other roles you are using) is a business user with correct credentials. To check this, in Test Your Processes, on the left panel check the Manage User Icon
2. Is the connection between the S/4Hana Cloud service and SAP Cloud Platform working? Your system admin may be able to check on this.
Note as per page 3 of the roadmap viewer, Test Your Processes will only work if you're using SAP Cloud Identity Provider, Microsoft Active Directory Federation Service, or Ping Identitiy Service.

If these settings are okay, then please raise a ticket under component CA-CTT-S4C

Hi Shiva,
Let me highlight, this is a very common issue and is potentially a connectivity issue between S/4 HANA systems and SAP Cloud Platform. Usually, raising an incident with our Dev folks can help you identify and fix the issue relatively quicker.
It is always a Best Practice to set user permission to 'default' to avoid any further complication in future with user permission roles versus custom roles.
Thank you! Amith Nair
