Maintainance of uploaded employee's email address

How do i change the email address of uploaded employees? "IAM"/"Maintain business user" shows the address, but does not offer an edit option. Using "Maintain Business Partner" does not display the address in any of the fields.

Hi,

You can try using app "Import employee" - upload function and this should overwrite the email address of the employee. Please note that you need to take care of the changed email addresses also in SCI in case these are business users who need to login in system.

hi Sandeep,

We also wanted to update email for bulk of employees / users for example 100, in this case, through api we are trying to update, but if we trigger mandatory fields such as external ID and names along with email address, it just override manager / cost center.

Is there any other option to update only email addresses without impacting other fields.

Although not out of the box, it looks like you can use the SOAP API for the business user to update timezone.

For example, you could write a simple iFlow on CPI to take in a csv file from Excel and bulk update the timezone for your users.
