Dear SAP community,
We have our walkthrough with Italian team next week
We do not understand the difference of functionality between "Perform foreign currency valuation app" and "Post foreign currency valuation - Italy" app.
Could youprovide me an explanation
Thank you in advance,
Regards,
Laure Altazin
Hi,
According to Italian law, current assets and liabilities in foreign currency have to be revaluated with the exchange rate on the year-end closing date. The revaluation difference has to be posted to the specific vendor/customer account.
First you run Foreign Currency Revaluation app for open customer/vendor invoices posted in a foreign currency. Then "Post Foreign Currency Revaluation - Italy" app (app ID RVITREVAL) posts the revaluation differences to the relevant vendor/customer account and to the currency revaluation profit/loss account.
Regards,
Marcin
