We have a requirement from business that if approver is same as the PO creator, that workflow step should be skipped and the approval should go to the next person.
This can be done in your workflow design, you can fetch possible agents for approval(workflow task) from the same list search for the one who created the PR/PO...Hope this helps to resolve the issue.
