assign plant in hr

Hello everyone

when i try to use CAT2 to input hours to an employee for a certain activity, sap prompts a message that says :

Assign plant in HR master record

i have browsed about the topic, they speak about mantaining the hr master data, infotype 0350 and thinks like that but i do not even know how to find it and what exactly should i fill in to make it correctly.

Any help about this please?

IT 0350 or IT 0315? What is the message class/number?

Hi ,

To book time in CAT2 System for the employee/personnel number , first we need to go to transaction PA20 - to search for Personnel Number and give info type as 0315 ( Time Sheet Defaults) Here , we need to Select the Plant & enter the required Plant Number. Then go to transaction code ‘CAT2’ , select Data Entry Profile & Personnel Number to maintain data .Please find screenshots attached for the reference .

Hi,

for the employee/personnel number you are using to book time in CAT2. Check for that employee/personnel number in PA20 and give info type as 0315 and check if Plant is entered or not, this is only an information message, you can skip it and book the time.
