Where can we check credit Memo workflow history?

Hello,

Is there any app where we can see the history of a credit memo workflow? Who approved/rejected the credit memo? The log of forwarded workflows.

Hello,

If I understand clearly your question, you will find the answer in:

APP: manage credit memo request

1/select the credit memo number

2/When you are in the document, choose on top of the document: more>environment>changes

3/ Select the information to display + execute

4/ list of historic of changes appears

Thank you for your response!

The change log in sales document only provides when the credit block was removed. The user name is by default SAP_WFRT. I am looking for a place where I can see the complete history of that workflow. Who approved the memo, if it was forwarded to someone then the details about that, comments added when rework was requested etc.

Role required: SAP_BR_ADMINISTRATOR

I haven't used this personally, but its worth exploring these apps as they seem to be a close match to your requirement.

I have checked both these apps and also few others related to workflow like Workflow administration, workflow with status error etc. But don't see any log in these apps.

Hi Deepti,

Credit memo requests requiring approval based on the defined workflows (Handling of the credit memo request) are sent to the responsible team members in the My Inbox app, where they can release, reject, or request a rework of the credit memo request by the initiator.

The Workflow log is available for each item received in the inbox. The solution currently does not support a consolidated view (report format) to monitor the workflow statuses for all the credit memo requests.

sai yes. The approval requests are available in "My Inbox" app. but it disappears as soon as we have taken some action on it (e.g. reject, rework or forward the request). that is why i was looking for some kind of report.

I seem to recall getting a response from SAP a while back (albeit about a different workflow) to the effect that there wasn't much reporting available in this space.

Even where notes are added in the approval / rejection process in 'My Inbox' - these do not necessarily update the underlying document.

A few gaps here - which will presumably get addresses in future releases?
