Intelligent RPA Cloud Studio: Cannot assign Environment Variable when testing Automations

Hi all,

I cannot seem to be able to use Environment Variables when testing Automations in Intelligent RPA Cloud Studio.

I've set up a string Environment Variable (envUsername) and then tried to do each of the following having clicked test on the automation and filled in the value of envUsername when selecting the Environment to test in...

  • Create a string and assign it's value as envUsername
Error: the parameter "valueToAssign" refers to an unknown type
  • Create a string and assign it empty text. Then update it with envUsername
Error: the parameter "valueToAssign" refers to an unknown type
  • Run a second automation and assign envUsername to an input variable of type string
Error: Invalid Argument: Type of strInput is not valid
  • Using Keystroke Element, type the contents of envUsername into a field in SAP Logon 760
No error is thrown, but "undefined" is entered into the field instead of the contents of envUsername

What am I doing wrong? I've tried to search through the documentation but it only seems to tell you how to create en Environment Variable and how to set it's value when testing. It does not seem to say that you have to do something specific to then use it.

I've tried this on v2.0.6 and v2.0.7 of the agent with the same results.

Cheers,

Matt
