FIori App Extension using SAP Web IDE in cloud platform

Hi,

I am trying to create a extension for My Timesheet and Approval Timesheet app. As a developer what's the role do I require to create the extension. Do I need the same role as a business user for development to run or view the app in extensibility pane.?

To run the standard application correctly you need the business user role and for that apps also be setup as an employee. To deploy your extension you need developer authorizations.
