calculate depreciation for Area 02 based on APC of Area 01

Hi,

We have a requirement where the Depreciation for Area 02 (fiscal-Do not post) should consider the APC value of Area 01 (Book).

We tried using the Base Value Key ZA (User specific) with a multi level method in depreciation key. As per SAP note, 1131960, SAP has replaced the user exit with BADI. We are able to trigger the BADI but somehow the code is not working.

Please suggest the options. Any specific information on the fields to be considered and how the values (calculations) will be stored in the system.

We have managed to get the APC values for Area 02 from APC of Area 01. Issue closed.

Hi,

Thank you for the reply. But this is not required for all the Assets at the area level but to specific assets (consider some specific Asset classes) and hence we have considered the Base value in Multi level method.

Please checke deprecaition area configuration, this can be manage in deparciation area configurations, not in depreciation key.
