Hello
I want to create a list report to display data about entity mapping.
Unfortunately, when I choose the corresponding type, there is a red icon and the report remains empty.
I did not find in the documentation the meaning of this red icon.
Did anybody face teh same issue ?
Regards,
Bruno
Hello Bruno,
now it is more clear. See the screenshot of my example I created. If you need to create list report of mappings between entities (as you are writing), you need to switch the Object type in the List report properties to "Mapping".
If you need to create list report of mappings between entity attributes (as you are showing on the screenshot), just change the Object type from "Entity Attribute Mapping" to "Sub-object mapping". That should work.
Mappings are internally quite complex object and not all their properties and behaviour are obvious from the GUI. I know it very well, because I`ve had some hard times with mappings myself:)
If you need any other help, let me know.

Ondrej

Thanks Ondrej for your time,
That's also the only solution I found so far. By using sub-object mapping, I got the requested info in "Feature.Parent", "Feature" and "Mapped to".
I'm still wondering why you cannot use "Entity Attribute Mapping", or worse, you can use it but the list remains empty.
Thanks again,
Bruno
Hello Ondrej and thanks for the answer
The PD version is 16.6.9.0 (6177)

Hello,
creating list reports on CDM/LDM mappings works (currently tested on PD 16.6 SP09). To get some reasonable advice, it would be better if you could share some more details: PD version, model type (CDM or LDM models?), some screenshots (list report structure, red icon error...) with your problem.

Ondrej
