Transport Domain controller move with Multiple domain links

Hi All,

How do we move transport domain controller from one system to other which got multiple trusted domains where source system which is currently domain controller with multiple trusted domain links.

steps

1. Target instance will be made Back up domain controller

2 Question - Should be able to make Backup domain as Domain controller or best to remove domain before making Backup domain as Domain controller

Any suggestion on pros and cons ?
