SAP XS Migration Assistant - Error on some Delivery Units

Hello Experts,

I am using the HANA XS Migration Assistant to migrate an App to XS Advanced. For a sample DU which i created this process works fine but when i specify a different delivery Unit I get the followeing error:

It seems like the User connecting to the HANA doesnt get the correct list of delivery units.

Has anybody ever experienced this issue?

I tried to work around it by using the --package property. For some reason this is not recognized at all.

Am i making any obvious mistakes?

Best Regards,
Oliver

For your first try it is mentioned that the target dir is not existing -> Did you check that the folder exists.

In your second try you missed to add the delivery unit for which the migration to be done.

Did I miss anything in your question?

Hi Florian,

For the migration assistant it is mandatory that the target directory specified with --target-dir does not exist - as specified in the documentation here. Creating the target directory leads to an error happing earlier in script execution.

Thats makes this error confusing because i think it has to do with the Delivery Unit not being found in the HANA System, not with the target directory.

For the second error: As the error says it is possible to specify a delivery unit or a list of packages.
This is done with the --packages property but does not seem to work.

As with my experience it is highly inconsitent if the --packages property works. Sometimes it worked and sometimes not.
Best Regards,
Oliver
