Hi Experts
We are implementing sap for some European countries (France, Sweden, Belgium) specifically and have plants abroad enabled. We have invoices which have high number of line items and they cannot be split to become limitation of 999 line items. Every time we have such invoices they fail since the number of line items is huge. Is there a way out in which these could be overcome and also be compliant with reporting requirements like intrastat. Please advise.
Regards
Gauri
Hi gauri2011
There is now a standard functionality in SAP since 2012 that invoices with more than 999 line items can be split up with more than one accounting document created, when the SD Invoice is released to accounting. The notes should also be support intrastat reporting in plants abroad. The below blog by leelaamaraneni might be a good starting point for you.
The blog has also links to relevant oss notes. I had a quick glance at the OSS notes and I believe that Intrastat should work fine as the primary data for the same is based on SD and MM data. You should implement the OSS Notes in a test system and check for the intrastat reports
Hope this helps
Thanks & Regards
