Apportionment factor is negative Error while Shipment Setup Table filing

Hello All,

I am on BW 7.4 SP008

While trying to fill Shipment data source: 2LIS_08TRFKP & 2LIS_08TRFKZ through SBIW -> Settings for Application-Specific Data Sources (PI) -> Logistics -> Managing Extract Structures -> Initialization -> Filling in the Setup Table -> Application-Specific Setup of Statistical Data -> LES-Shipment Costs - Perform Setup I am getting Apportionment factor is negative error. While further checking this issue, I found that we should use report: WSLIPS03 & WSLIPSKC. These reports will remove data inconsistencies in the delivery regarding weight, volume and quantity. Can you please suggest whether I should use these reports or not? If I use these reports will it impact on any of our standard tables. What is your recommendation on this?

If I should not use these reports then what should I do to resolve this error?

Best Regards,

Apurva Vora.

Hi Apurva,

There are several SAP Notes for the error you meantioned and you must have already refered as per your analysis. I think most of them menations the issue post batch split or issue while creating shippment orders in source. I think better to confirm with functional team and execute those corrections first in non productive environment and test it.

Hello Bhavin,

Thanks for your answer.

I have already gone through these notes & from these notes only I have found these 2 reports. If I execute these reports then they will make changes in Standard table LIPS.I am not aware whether they are also impacting other standard tables or not. I was also facing the same issue in the Development Environment & I had executed these reports. After that I was able to fill the setup table in the development environment.

Before proceeding further in the Production Environment I want to make sure that these reports will not make any difference / change in other standard tables.

Best Regards,

Apurva Vora.

Yes agree with you Apurva. Definitely it will make some changes at a record level in source so better to ask functional team to test the scenarios in dev. and proceed further.
