Hi friends,
I checked the limitations regarding uploaded files. But this limitations are only described for single files. What I'am curious about is the maximum size of all imported data into one SAC tenant.
Kind regards,
Ismail
Hello Ismail,
Welcome back.
File import limit for various medium and sources can be found below. Though I am assuming you may have already checked this.
System Sizing, Tuning, and Limits
There is no limit for batch imports, as long as individual imports remain within individual limits.
Lets take an example here - Say you have a BW cube with 10M records/ rows in it and from above we know BW import limitation is 100M cells and 100 columns. So if we say we are importing 100 columns (ID and Description included) from BW, then limit is 1 M rows.
If we try to extract all at once (provided timeout and memory from all front are within limit) then we will get error, because of limit. But if we try to split the extract in batch jobs of 1M rows into into 10 jobs then we will be able to achieve this.
Now if you are looking for how much storage quota offered in SAC HANA DB - there is no limit or restriction on storage for public edition of SAC. Private SAC have limit (bandwidth as well as storage) based on contract though. This is documented in terms and condition of SAC-
Hope this helps.
Have a great weekend ahead!

Hi Debjit,
thanks for your quick answer. So that means practically there are no limitations regarding the storage of the SAC.
But could you hit me with some short explonations of the diffrence between public and private SAC variations?
Kind regards,
Ismail
