Is there any standard odata service available for material master in SAP ECC

Hi Experts,

We have a requirement where we have to create a GET api for material master containing information from different tables like MARA, MARC, MBEW, AUSP, MSLB, MCHB etc.

Our technical team already checked the standard service available which is MDG_MATERIAL_SRV and confirmed that this is not sufficient enough to handle the requirement. Hence we opted to go for a customized one.

As customized api requires a lot of efforts, we are still looking for a solution to use standard api

We had looked many posts and found nothing on standard api. Could you please help us understand if we are missing anything or we can use the standard api which fulfill the above requirement.

Hello Rohit,

I would suggest you to copy the standard api and enhance with additional entities and associations and then enhance its DPC extension class method get entityset with additional fields as I have faced a similar issue with business partner api, it was achieved through enhancement.
