Logic flow of SAP BW transformations

Sunny morning to everybody,

Is there any way to present a complex transformation logic in BW?

There is a multi step transformation that I want to make transparent to business users. The best way to debug through data flow thats is too technical. Power point/visio are not linked with actual system.

I want to build a transparent front end that pulls out the existing logic and shows the entire transformation process (from source data up to numbers in the report)

I was thinking about the front end tool that able to visualize hidden logic

komandante77 Unfortunately there are none out of the box option available. As suggested, you can try to create a view on top of the tables (mentioned) and create a query. Though some details like routine logic etc. will remain with user discretion.

Note : Statistic business contents shipped with SAP BW and BW4HANA do not go into details of transformation. Reason why I didnt suggested 🙂
