I can't see my app in the content explorer Launchpad

Tutorial: https://developers.sap.com/tutorials/cp-launchpad-integrate-sapui5-app.html
--------------------------

According to the tutorial I built my app and deployed in Sap Cloud Patform foundry environment however in the last step when I have to explose in launchpad, my app doesn't appear in content explorer.

I can run my app standalone through the url in the browser so It looks like the app is suscesfully deployed.

Thanks

I think that there is a bit of a mismatch here between the Launchpad Module option and the HTML5 Content Provider option (also known sometimes as: Managed AppRouter option).

The Launchpad module is not available with the new SCP Launchpad service; the HTML5 Content Provider (available with the Launchpad service and the portal service) is the recommended approach for developing Fiori/UI5 apps and integrate into the Launchpad.

The tutorial is following the HTML5 Content Provider approach.

Thanks for your answer Aviad.

If I select the project "Fiori Elements" instead of "Freestyle", the wizar doesn't ask to choose the "Managed App Router" option so it doesn't go to the HTML5 Content Provider and I can't include in launchpad.

Do you know how you could with a project type "Fiori Elements" send the app to the HTML5 same as "Managed AppRouter" with "Freestyle" projects ?

Many thanks

You're right, Fiori elements are not yet supported with the Managed AppRouter. It is on the roadmap...

In step 6 in the following tutorial, did you select Approuter Managed by SAP Cloud Platform? This is mandatory to make it working...

Hi Aviad, thanks for your answer. I did what you ask.

I could solve thanks to this blog https://blogs.sap.com/2021/01/13/business-application-studio-launchpad-services-in-cloud-foundry/

See my post there if some is interested in how to solve.
