Enterprise Portal 7.5 SP18 replacement path??

We’ve just upgraded enterprise portal to 7.5 SP18 to have support till 2024 Toto provide some breathing room to determine what path to take. Another reason we need to find a replacement is enterprise we are going to be possibly replacing IE11 with The latest version of Edge on chromium and there is some functionally that doesn’t work that well.

Another reason is we heavily leverage the use of ABAP roles and work sets to secure our reporting for front end users.

We thought there might be a solution in using SAP SAC’s catalog function but still need to learn more about its capabilities.

Has anyone found a go forward solution that works well enterprise wide that can still leverage BW abap roles for security?

I could not understand this: do you want to replace NetWeaver Java Enterprise portal for something else that can still use ABAP roles as main permission defining mechanism for users?

Yes, what is the proposed replacement for Enterprise Portal that would still be able to leverage BW roles? I haven't found anything in the roadmap as a replacement path.
