Qulaity Certificate for Rejected UD

Hello,

We are in S4 1909

We have a requirement where COA should not be printed if UD is rejected, COA's MIC values are from Inspection Char only.

We check marked "Accepted Lots" only under Restriction for Inspection Lot at Certificate Profile.

But still COA is generating for the rejected UD inspection lot

Any suggestion

These are the three strategies defined

How this will help me, not sure, my ask is if UD is rejected, COA should not print and data is coming from Inspection Lot MICs

Hello Craig, Thanks for your comment, in QC21, input field is Inspection Lot, so why the program read data from different Inspection Lot? and profile calls for MIC not the characteristics, we do not tie MIC and Char for results.

Similarly in QC22, one passes Material and Batch, it should not look elsewhere.

In your COA profile, there is a field for strategy for missing results.

It depends on what you have in that field as to behavior. You make no mention of that.

Do you have all the results printing and are they all from a rejected lot? You might find it is not finding the lot but maybe using values from the batch? Or from another inspection lot that maybe you weren't realizing? Or from an accepted lot in the production chain?

I would include other qualifiers in your COA profile including the inspection lot origin and a minimum Q-score.

Abhisek,

Our understanding is the a "Rejected UD" will have Valuation code = Not OK and Accepted UD as OK.

Our valuation code is "Not OK" i.e. it is not set as "OK"

If it something different let me know

Hi Aditya,

Please check the valuation of the u.d code, the system consider the Valuation code only.

Thanks and Regards,
