Hi All,

Can anybody plz. help,

As per Reporting requirements a have few fields which needs to be enhanced in DataSource, and few comes from Master data in Logistics,MM.

1. When repoting from respective cubes, how the master data fields can be incorporated in report fileds?

2. Can u plz give me the steps. to extract std. master data in Logistics.

Robyn,

Most of the master data fields are attribute of MATERIAL, CUSTOMAR or VENDOR only base characteristic in info cube.

By default all the attributes available for reporting as display attributes.

If you want freely play around with characteristics make only for those as navigational attribute in info cube level.

Once characteristic is available in navigation attribute you can use in report as per your requirement.

Hi,

I am not able to understand why have you written the word Enhancement for ? If you are doing reporting and you need settings for the same, then in that case we are not doing any enhancement.

Secondly if you are looking for the steps for including Master Data in Logisitics to be used as Reporting Fields then they should be all included and loaded in BW and then you can have them included in your ODS / CUBE as Characteristics which will by default appear when you create a BEx Query on the ODS / CUBE.

Hi Pradip,

The Enhancement means, fields are not part of std.datasources, and not available in that cube.

For e.g. i have a report requirement that consists of ,

Material,Mat Description, Customer, Customer name Customer pur order#, Sales document, Vendor, Flow doc., Flow doc date, Order date, 1st Delivery date, Quantity, Confirmed quantity, Open quantity, Value

As u can c, Mat Desp. Cust.Name & Vendor r not part of any cube( i checked std.cubes in SD) they come from SD Master Data, and Flow Doc Date and Flow Doc are need to be added(Enhanced) to any one of SD Datasources.

Please explain how can i get these fields?
