Hi Experts,

We have recently upgraded Personas 3.0 to SP11 along with SAP_UI 754 SP05. We have SAP CPM 2.0 installed as well.(commercial Proj Management )

Post Upgrade when the user displays master project and corresponding master quotes/customer quotes in the CPM screen, When clicking on the Customer quote link the quote must be displayed in the new screen of tcode VA23 with the quote number populated. However on clicking the said quote link the below error is received which wasn't there previously (this takes to VA23)

not authorised to use transaction APB_LPD_CALL_TRANS

While this is the behaviour in Prod, the same works in QA with all roles and profiles being similar, Also the quote number is not auto populated on the target screen of VA23 which was working previously.

how can I troubleshoot the same and correct this error.

I am afraid you have to contact the application directly.

And: What about the application behavior using SAP GUI for Windows (VA23) without using SAP Business Client?

Thanks for responding, reason for this was auth check failure for tcode APB_LPD_CALL_TRANS

it works in QA as corresponding QA role has * for auth object S_TCODE. Now the question is did the upgrade bring in this auth check before launching VA22/VA23 screen as it was working for the users before.

To fix this I'll have to grant access to the tcode in the role
