Business Application Studio - XML Layout Editor Issue

When i try to open an XML with Layout editor, I don't find an option for the same in the Business Application studio.

I keep getting this message, which I believe is the reason for the issue.

I set the Java Home variable but still no change.

You are aware that you're in a Linux environment there? So setting a path to a Windows folder will not help.

Is it missing immediately after entering the IDE or even 2 mintues after it loads?

@gregorw, So what is that I need to do. Web IDE never needed these kinds of configs. Isn't the whole idea of IDEs on Cloud is meant to not bug us for these kinds of things. Please help me with solution for issue in hand.

After 2 minutes do you still not see layout editor in the "Open With" menu?

If so could you share any interesting errors from your browser console?

Hi Amiram,

I've created a fresh "SAP Fiori" Workspace in BAS and followed the tutorial Create an SAP Fiori App Using SAP Business Application Studio. I face the same issue as selvakumar.mohan. In addition the Layout Editor didn't even appear.

This error keep happening more than ten times.

This is the last error message after series of previous error.

Hi,

Try to reset SAP FIORI Tools disabling the option, start the space, stop the space, enable SAPUI5 Adaptation project again and start dev space.

Sorry, I can't add screen short, this option appears in dev space before start the space. You can activate and deactivate this plugin.

In case you use SAP Fiori dev spaces, maybe you need to recreate your spaces.
