I am trying to figure out the PIT tool, but when comparing two messages I get an unexpected difference.
In my source system I have an Idoc which is mapped (xslt) to an xml and sent as an email attachment.
I have changed nothing in the target system.
So when comparing these message I would expect that no differences are found.
However, the verification result mentions that it is 'Unable to find matching AM version in target msg'. It thinks the target value (I assume the message ID, see images) is empty, which is not the case, it is only different. The content of the message is completely the same, including namespaces etc.
In addition, I cannot choose to make an exemption rule in this case; the option is greyed out.
Does anyone know what causes this verification result?
