Solution Manager 7.2 on cloud monitors on premise satellite systems

Hi All,

Just want to know if solution manager 7.2 on cloud can monitor on premise satellite systems ? I know on premise solman 7.2 can monitor cloud products like SF,ARIBA etc.

Hi Sateesh

Sure because there is no real "software as a service version" of SAP Solution Manager. Whatever option you would take, you end up with SAP Solution Manager 7.2 (installed on premise or installed cloud based on Amazon AWS or alikes). So in the end it comes down to technical connectivity, as long as you can connect your SAP Solution Manager 7.2 that runs cloud based to your on-premise world you can use all the functionality and scenario's as you would having your SAP Solution Manager 7.2 on premise.
