Charm Issue: Project ID field is not being inherited from the CR, when creting a CD

Hello All,

In Solution Manager Charm - The project id field is not being inherited from the CR, when creating a CD.

Since the field is disabled for input, The CD is damaged.

Please find the details of issue below:

Step1:

Created Change Request With change document by promoting to realization face.

Here CR has with all mandatory fields like project name, CO, TO, BO and CD type etc.

Change document under scope tab of CR

On Opening the CD, Details was not inherited.

As the project id field is disabled, Unable to maintain. This issue is only happening in Development.

Kindly assist me on resolving this issue.

Apart from the areas mentioned above, you may need to check the copy control for change request as well.

Dear Rana ,

The common reason is lack of authorization . Check SU53 for the user which created the CD . The authorization object S_PROJECT may be required.

The field Project is obsolete in Solution Manager 7.2.

Is this field in your Change Request transaction type the Solution, but with a different label?

The version of SolMan is 7.1, and it works fine in Quality and production systems. When creating the CR, we can maintain the project details and carry them forward to change document means no need to enter them again, and the field is disabled.

Here, the issue exists in the development system only since some configurations got disturbed. So, please let us know if you have any idea where these configs maintain?

I really appreciate any information you can provide.
