Design thinking course

Hi

I have heard a lot about design thinking and also that SAP offers certification on the same? As a SAP developer how much does it impact professional growth?

Please guide.

Best Regards

Amit

Hi sachdeva81

Design thinking should be at the heart of software design. I would think of the five key phases:

a) Empathize with the user

b) Define the problem

c) Ideate the solution

d) Prototype possible solutions

e) Test the prototype with the end users

With these principles for the software development principles, I would think that the software would be more closer to the real world requirements and not a product developed in "ivory towers".

With more and more customers moving away from traditional way of implementing and maintaining software, there is a great furture for a design thinking coach who is also a software developer. You would install and re imagine your development cycle, thereby reducing defects over a period of time and developing something which is more closer to requirements of the user.

There is a learning journey path for courses and Certification for Design Thinking. You can review the same at the below link:

Hope this helps

This opens up possibilities: when you immerse yourself in it, at some point you realize that you used to see in 2D and now you see in 3D and task processing is faster. You begin to see a few steps ahead and understand what will work and what will not.
