Crystal Report & getting the TOTAL table under Details section

Dears,

Hope everyone is doing great,

I tried my best to get the TOTAL table under Details section with a contract made of 2 pages but this table keeps moving to the top of the next page, and I wanted it to be under the Details section in page 1.

The other thing you might do would be to split the report footer section into two sections - one that contains the table and another that contains the rest of what you have in the footer. I would also make the rows in the table shorter - there's a lot of blank space in them. Then, in the Section Expert, make sure that "New Page Before" is not turned on for that section.

Hello Dell,

I tried my best to get this table under Details section, so I inserted a new detail section (Details b) and I put the TOTAL table in it, and I went to its suppress and I applied this formula recordnumber <> 1

The problem is Details b keep getting between the Details in a, and I wanted it to be under them all as showed in picture 2.

Hi Abdullah,

This won't work in a details section. Do you have anything you can group by in the report? If I understand your need correctly, this would be some value that only appears once in the report. When configuring the group, do the following:

1. Turn off "Keep Together" for the group.

2. Suppress the group header section.

3. Put the table in the group footer section.

Placing the object in the Report footer is why it's always on the last page of the report.

Multiple ways to keep it on the same page:

Add a second Detail section and move it there, although that causes the query to run for every record returned.

Move it to a Page Footer section.
