Reinstalling Sneak Preview SAP Netweaver 2004s for ABAP

I had an error, installing the sneak preview.

So I want to reinstall it, so when I was in the uninstall.

I couldn´t erase the MAXdb, when I wanna drop the NSP db the program ask me user name and password.

I put in user name: superdba and password that I have set it before (in the installation)

I he tell me that is incorrect ¬¬ Im sure that the pass is okey, so what I wanna know is which is the name that SAP use it to name the admin of the DB, because superdba is not working.

and if the name is really superdba, there is a way of unistalling the MaxDB ???

Hi, thx for your answer, but that doesnt seems to work

I still get "user logon failed:" and Im sure about the password, because I use the same for the whole installation and the other works.

The funny thing is that after that message it ask me if I wanna drop the DB anyway without DB authorization, and when I click yes. It tell me "Sorry DBM server doent support this feature"

the logon didnt work, so like u say I stop the XSERVER service (MAXDB) and erase the folders and clean the registry for that service

but there is something that I missing because when I tried to reinstall a error came up, when the installation supose to ask me the password por superdba, It tells me that there is information but dont find the program.

If some1 know the entries that the installation generate, pls share it with me ^^

Rodrigo,

There are so many registries created during the installation. You may download the registry clean-up utility using the following link.

https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/67d87cef-0d01-0010-e985-d9a...

If it still would not work, let me know. We should clear those manually.
