Doubt in installing JDI with SDM

Hi,

I'm installing JDI with SDM.

I'm adding software component archives to the deployment list on the Deployment tab.

Now my SAPBUILDT is SAPBUILDT16P_1-20000950.SCA

and devinf is SAPDEVINF16_0-20000267.SCA and

devinff is SAPDEVINFF16_0-20000268.SCA.

I'm wondering - will it be a problem if the SP number_stuff is different for the scas?

Thanks

Sumathi

Hi Sumathi

No this is not a problem , this is how it is delivered. The SDM however is built into the WAS and is not part of the JDI deployment.

Hi Sumathi,

I will share my expireance with you. i have also tryied to install a SCA of SP10 with patch 1 (p_1) but i encounted many error. than i try to install SCA with SP10 and Patch 0 and i was succesfull.

so i would recommand you to install SCA with patch 0.

The P_1 in the SAP_BUILDT SCA name indicates that it is patch 1. If you compare the filesize between the first release and the patch 1 file on the SAP Marketplace, you will see that the patch includes the first release as well, since the archive is about the same size (a bit bigger even).
