Payroll posting to WBS without CATS

Hi Expert,

I have a requirement, there is no CATS system is used., the employee time is captured in bio metric system. For each project bio metric system are used to capture the employee punch in/out and the project code. So each bio metric system will be having different project code and along with Punch In/out the project code will also get captured in TEVEN table in the employee master.

Employee Number Date Punch in Punch Out Project Code

1234 01.12.2020 8:00:00 17:00:00 X1234

1234 02.12.2020 8:07:00 17:15:12 X4332

The requirement is to make cost distribution through WBS for the employee salary. So matching the project code and WBS how to do the cost distribution in IT0027 for the entire month as a automation?

We had a similar situtation a long time back, we used to keep track of time IN/OUT in infotype 2002 and maintained the activity allocations in IT2002 with WBS and Orders for each IN and OUT time pairs. Looks like if you not using CATS, then plan for a custom upload dev prog to load in IT2002.
