the course does not run well in our LMS

Hi!

We downloaded a course (which contains simulations and tests) in SCORM 1.2, but when we did the test in scorm.cloud we saw that it does't read the complete state. What can we do to make our LMS read the course completely?

Hi Laura,

Did you set the SCORM tracking in the Playback Settings prior to publishing the SCORM manifest that you used to import into your LMS?

Hi John,

these are the setting I have:settings.png

Thanks!

Than you for sharing. It looks like it's set up to track. Which means it's likely being caused by a cross-domain issue (LMS on one server domain and Enable Now content on a different server domain).

Here is a link to the topic as it relates to SuccessFactors LMS. And even if you aren't using SuccessFactors, the concepts are the same so hopefully this will help you move the issue forward.

Also, here's the link to the topic in the Info Center: https://enable-now.sap.com/ic/wa/ext/~tag/published/index.html?show=group!GR_F8BA0FC968CD2EB9#group!...

Someone might have some additional suggestions and hopefully will chime in on this thread.

Hi Laura,

The completion flag should be set if the user has completed all objects in the course, e.g. opened every Book Page and completed every mode of every Simulation contained in the course. Given that you have set the SCORM settings at the Trainer - Global level, they will apply to all content objects contained beneath the Book object, including to all modes of Simulations.

As an example, if a Book object has 10 child Book Pages and 5 child Simulations, it is likely that a user would have to open all 10 Book Pages and complete all modes of the 5 Simulations before the course would be flagged as complete.

To address this situation, you should open the SCORM settings again and:

1. Click on the Demo Mode settings
2. Open the Tracking (SCORM) tab and check the Progress and Results Tracking value for Demo mode Simulations. For example, if you do not want Demo Simulations to be tracked if they exist in a course, set this value to None
3. Repeat Step 2 for each of the other Simulation modes
4. Save the changes to the Settings and publish the course in SCORM again and try again

Hope this helps.

Regards
Shane
