How to duplicate a store in Commerce?

Hi experts

I need to duplicate a B2C store in a certain city in SAP Commerce Cloud and replicate the parameter settings to have stores in different cities.

Some documentation, steps or technical recommendations to take into account. Best regards

Hi Elio,

Form my perspective, you should use multicountry package provided from Sap E-Commerce.

The package brings probably everything that you need BaseStore, Product Availability, SolrSearchProfile etc. , but you will need to extend it a little bit, by implement City to Country relation. Like that you will have even smaller granularity and provide product availability in different cities/regions.

Another possible solution is to organise your data in different catalogs based on city or region and by implement location service from storefront you can detect from where the store is called display the content from the specific catalog available for the city/region. But there is disadvantage of this implementation.

Like that you will multiplay the Products in the database based on the Catalog. In other words, as many products you have in the base catalog, multiplied by two you will have it in every City/Region catalogs.
