Can't modify y-Program

I want to modify following program: YFIBCAS5900

What can I do about this?

SOLUTION:

Problem was, that the program was imported from development system ERP in development system S/4HANA.
I changed the original system in SE03 to the S/4HANA and this fixed the problem.

Probably some failure in the transport between ERP and S/4HANA.

It looks like you are trying to modify the program in that system that is not the origin of the program. Typically custom developments are implemented in DEV system, then transported to QA and PRD. You should only modify them in DEV. If you try to modify in QA or PRD, you'll get this kind of message.

Now, depending on your scenario, you should (in the order of descending preference):

• Modify the program in its system of origin
• Modify the program in SAP GUI using modification assistant
• Ignore the message and modify in Eclipse.

It is a program from an other system.

Now I know where to look.

Currently we're migration from ERP to S/4HANA might be that there are changes in the old ERP which are not in the new S/4HANA what occurred the error.

If the original system has been removed or renamed, another option is to reassign all the objects of this system to the desired system -> SM30 TADIR select all objects, type MASS in the command field and type the new source system.
