What should I Download

Hello friends,

I want to install <i>SAP Full ABAP Edition (with Web Dynpro for ABAP!)</i> on my PC.

Should I also download <b>SAPGUI</b> or <b>only SAP NetWeaver 04s(1.5 GB)</b> is needed to get a running SAP system.

Hi Arun,

If u have SAP in your system. You can simply install Netweaver. If it is in a remote machine u need to install the SAP GUI. Then you need to install the netweaver. Just installing netweaver wont get a running SAP system.

you need to download SAPGUI and SAP NetWeaver 04s.

if you dont want to use SAPGUI ,

without SAPGUI interface, using internet browser also you can work with the ABAP engine but the look and feel wont be similar to SAPGUI .

but to enable the system so that you can use browser instead of SAPGUI, you first have to install SAPGUI and connect to the system and do the following steps explained in this weblog. after these steps are done, then you can simply use browser instead of SAPGUI
