Difference in itemcode and barcode in SAP B1 9.3 from 8.82

I noticed that there some changes in item management in B1 from version 9.3.

Could there be a way to switch it back? We had it setup that when we entered the ietem code it would copy it to the bar code.

Hello,

You have to enter Barcode in Barcode screen, as one item can have multiple barcodes. Than only you can have option to choose the relevant barcode in marketing/transactional documents.

There is no way to revert back to the old way where there was one barcode for each item number

Can you explain me more that why you are thinking to revert back where you have the option to get the barcode from OITM itself if ItemCode is used as Barcode.
